Weekend Martyr, the post-punk band formed by Riccardo Prianti, Elia Lazzerini, and Giulio Maria, will provide a live soundtrack for Sergei Eisenstein’s film “Battleship Potemkin,” with a specially curated Live Set that will span various sonic dimensions.

Just like the five acts of the film, the trio will accompany the work with five different interventions, all united by psychedelic experimentation and a part of improvisation.

There will be five recurring themes that will connect the musical narrative, ranging from mantras reminiscent of the Velvet Underground to the minimal and psychedelic krautrock of Can.
