Eleonora Bianchini was born in Perugia and started studying piano at the age of nine. In the same city, she attended the Morlacchi Music Conservatory from 1999 to 2003. After participating in Umbria Jazz Clinics in the summer of 2002, she won a scholarship to attend the prestigious “Berklee College of Music” in Boston.
From 2003 to 2011, Eleonora lived between Boston and New York, making her way in the field of Latin jazz music by performing at numerous international events and collaborating with Danilo Perez, Rosa Passos, Oscar Stagnaro, Mark Walker, Jamey Haddad, and performing on important American stages like Carnegie Hall, Queens Park, and Lincoln Center, etc.
In April 2008, she released her first album as a singer-songwriter, “Como Un Aguila En Lo Alto“, a project where she managed to blend her cultural roots with the rhythms and colors of Latin American culture.
From 2011 to 2013, Eleonora lived in Ecuador and taught singing at the Contemporary Music Institute which is part of the Universidad San Francisco in Quito.
In 2012, she realized her second musical project, “Esperare“, started in New York and finished in Quito.
Since 2013, Eleonora has been living in Rome where she continues her work as a composer, teacher, and singer. In 2014, she started a valuable duo in collaboration with world-renowned bassist Enzo Pietropaoli, releasing two albums “DOS” in 2014 and “IN SIGHT” in 2016, and in 2020 a third one named “ANDAR” enriched by the collaboration with the great accordionist Luciano Biondini, all produced by the Fonè Jazz label of Giulio Cesare Ricci.
In 2017 and 2019, Eleonora returned to explore the world and lived in India for two periods of four months each, teaching Jazz Singing at the Swarnabhoomi Academy of Music in Chennai and the Global Music Institute in Delhi.
In March 2018, she released her third album “SURYA” as a singer-songwriter produced by the Filibusta Records label in Rome.
In August 2023, Eleonora flies to India, Varanasi, to represent Italy as a singer in the G20 orchestra “Sur VAsudha”.
She continues to compose new music, regularly performing in music events and festivals, and is a Jazz Singing teacher at some conservatories in Italy.
